Today is National Whiners Day

Yep, it is true today is National Whiners Day and National Thank You Note Day.

So, Thank You everyone for stopping by here and I'm sick of not doing so well making money the last week.  There, got them both out of the way in one sentence.

I've showcased my coasters in a previous post.  Let me showcase some other plaques I have done....

Christmas Eve 2016

Christmas Eve 2016 is here.  Found Uber/Lyft driving to be spotty at best.  Feeling in mood to work on my craft I called it a day and came home to put finishing touches on two boxes that I had been working on.  They are done and photographed.  Ready to post on my Facebook page.  Will work more on the last of the 5 set wildlife hangings now.

Friday B4 Christmas

It is important to make up for some loss of income this week.   That required an early start.   After fuel and coffee it was a start time at 5:30a.   Two runs right off of locals headed to airport for fly out.   I realized on my second drop that I had not paid attention to my first stop and took them to Arrivals level instead of Departure.   One must not get distracted by conversation with riders.   They had ton of luggage too.   Bet they weren't happy with me.  I hate it when I make errors like that.

Numbers down

The numbers are down today.   Spent a good part of morning in South Carolina, I think I should have just ran the day out there.  Here it is 2pm and the dollar signs are low.   Weighing the option to focus on art the rest of the day or make it a long slow day of driving.   Might be able to make up for it tomorrow and Saturday.   This is the gamble I took doing this venture.   There is bound to be days like this that one needs to plan for.   Feeling artsy so guess I should flow with it.🖌

Coaster Maker

Saturday's Service Driving was not to bad, but it was a long day from 6am to 8pm with a few breaks here and there.  I had hoped for better, but I just was too tired by 8pm to do more.

Let's talk Pyrography for this posting, and perhaps the next few.   My work in this area has improved a lot over the last year and I have done several pieces that I am very pleased with.  Today, I'd like to touch base on a few of the coaster sets I have done.  Then over the next several weeks I will present some of the other categories I have done.

These are square 4" x 4" set of Christmas set that I finished in November.  They turned out nice and was most pleased with the Santa and Wreath.

This set of round Native American coasters was my first real effort of the human face.  For a first try at it I was pleasently surprised at the end product.

A Thanksgiving set of rounds that I did the first part of November.  I find that regular white pine can be a challenge at times with the area's of softer pine to the harder pine rings is difficult to adjust your lines too, but over all the product ended up pretty good.

This set of duck coasters ended up as one of my favorite sets that I have done.  Detailed yet simple.

All these are currently available for purchase.  They have not been shown much, but I'm sure once they end up on the market table they will go quickly.
